Google Play ratings of every major screen time app
We pull each app's public Google Play rating and re-check it every month, so this is one number you can trust more than a single review: the crowd's, dated.

There is no single place that lists what people actually rate these apps, so we made one and keep it current. Each figure is the app's own Google Play rating and rating count, read straight from its public listing.

How to read this
A high rating with a handful of ratings is not the same as a slightly lower rating across hundreds of thousands. Digital Wellbeing sits low partly because it ships on every Android phone and is rated by people who never chose it; a paid niche app is rated mostly by people who did. Ratings measure satisfaction among the people who installed, not how much an app actually lowers your screen time, which no store rating can see.
Three apps have no row because they have no Google Play listing: Cold Turkey is desktop software, Apple Screen Time is built into iOS, and Jomo is iPhone-only.
What a rating cannot tell you
Every app in this table works the same way underneath: you pick apps to block or limit, and the phone stays open for everything you did not pick. That is why blocking one app rarely lowers your total screen time however well it is rated. PhoneStop budgets the whole phone instead, which is a different measurement, not a higher rating.
